I had thought it was a bit overkill to be framing any of my paintings — please, I’m such a beginner, lol! But so many of my virtual classmates at Acrylic University and Fresh Paint frame a few of theirs — the ones they’re most proud of — that I thought what the heck, why not try it?
The basket of apples now in a red frame I’m giving to my Mom, since that was the one she liked best of my latest works. The others I’m keeping around my house for now, but some might become gifts later on. In the meantime, the frames immediately make my art “real” (hah, like someone else painted them).
The only ones I framed were canvas panels — and I haven’t done any varnishing. None is behind glass, as that apparently is a no-no for acrylics at least.

Yup, the frames really do work!
